About TritechMark Circo, President and CEO, started Tritech, Inc. in 1987 because he knew that analytical laboratory instrumentation could be much better serviced and maintained. Previously with Beckman Instruments for many years, Mark was originally a Field Service Engineer installing and repairing equipment in New York City and Long Island. He moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where, as an Account Specialist with Beckman, he was cross trained on all product lines and was the sole representative for Beckman service for several years. Mark moved to Annapolis from Honolulu to start Tritech with a main focus of servicing and maintaining analytical laboratory instrumentation. Annual revenues grew to $500K during the company’s first four years of operation. In 1991, Tritech won the National Institutes of Health blanket contract which, overnight, quadrupled the company’s revenues. (Tritech is still the only non OEM company to win this contract). Through geographic expansion as well as acquisitions, Tritech’s service area has grown and now stretches from New England to Northern Virginia, and North Central Florida. The customer base, primarily government at the beginning, now includes Universities, Biotech, and Pharmaceutical companies. Tritech has also broadened its capabilities to include sales of refurbished laboratory instrumentation, currently the fastest growing segment of our market. 2007 marked the twentieth year of continued and successful operation.
